Producers of the current Rolling Stones Extravaganza required a method of propelling coloured tape into the air over the stage and turned to Fieldens to supply the answer. A series of large Cheetah Bead Seater cylinders were mounted in a frame with the valves connected to solenoid switches. When charged the cylinders contained sufficient compressed air to launch the tapes high above the stage back drop before they fell back in graceful arches.
When not in use on the stage tyre fitters find the Cheetah Bead Seater an indispensable piece of kit when inflating large tyres, particularly on site. The cylinder can be charged before leaving the depot. With the tyre in place around the rim the contents of the Cheetah Bead Seater can be released quickly causing the tyre to seal to the rim without the loss of a great deal of air - something difficult to achieve with van mounted or smaller workshop compressors which can then be used to inflate the tyre to operating pressure.
Never let it be said that Fieldens' clients can't get no satisfaction!
