The Best Paddock Sweeper By Far

The New Logic MSP120 "Pro-Sweep" has been developed from the hugely successful MSC sweeper-collector. As part of a planned paddock maintenance schedule the MSP120 Pro-Sweep is used to quickly and effectively remove droppings and other debris, resulting in a healthier, more productive paddock. It is well known that paddocks are kept free of droppings to reduce the worm burden and to promote better grazing: to achieve this the British Horse Society recommends that removal of droppings should be done about three times a week. All horse owners will be fully aware of how back breaking this can be, taking up sometimes 6 hours of the week with one horse in a relatively small paddock. That time could be better used in the more enjoyable aspects of horse ownership, such as spending more time with our equine friends!

Even with just one horse to care for Pro-Sweep can be ten times fasterthan tackling the task by hand and with all the hard work removed, allowing people who are not fit and strong to continue caring for horses longer. Other mechanical methods available such as paddock vacuum systems, do not result in much of a saving in time over manual collection. Either the driver/rider has to stop at each dung pile to vacuum it up or a second person must be recruited to operate the wander hose. Simply tow the Pro-Sweep over each pile of droppings, increasing the revs while on the move to engage the sweeping brush; drive over the pile so that it goes between the two front wheels; then drop the revs again and move onto the next pile. There is no need to do whole paddock, just concentrate on the dung piles. The fastest, most effective and easiest method of muck collection available!!

Well, actually - wrong! There's quite a bit more to the job than that and this is where Fieldens have advised and helped. No pun intended, graves are highly personal, emotional subjects. Unfortunatly it's not simply a case of digging holes and using them as required. Cemetries are crowded places and there is no room for error. Set a digger up a bit off plumb and two detached plots could become distinctly semi detached by the time you get down 7ft; - totally unacceptable. Then there is the problem of lowering a coffin if the sides are not vertical. Oh and the grass - well lawn. How do you square up a tracked mini digger without scuffing up the turf? No, the whole job is not as simple as it looks at first glance.
